Christine Pacheco, LMSW
Licensed Master Social Worker
So, let me tell you a little about me.
I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker and psychotherapist from Brooklyn, where I learned early on that strength and softness can coexist. I help adults and couples find calm in the middle of life's chaos, whether that means navigating stressful work environments, complicated family dynamics, separation, or the heartbreaking aftermath of narcissistic abuse.
I'm a proud Jamaican and Puerto Rican woman, a mom to a very spirited toddler, and someone who's learned firsthand that growth doesn't come from having it all together. It comes from being honest with yourself, even when things feel messy. In therapy, I bring warmth, curiosity, humor, and grounded authenticity. My style is conversational and collaborative. Together, we get beneath the surface, build insight, and create tools that help you feel more connected, emotionally steady, and at ease within yourself and with others.
Before joining Empowered Mind, I worked in both community and private practice settings providing culturally affirming, trauma informed care. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment based, and person centered frameworks. I blend reflection with practical strategies to help clients navigate high functioning anxiety, complex attachment dynamics, co-parenting stress, and relational trauma while building healthier boundaries, improving communication, and rebuilding self trust.
As someone who's done her own inner work, I know that healing isn't about perfection. It's about compassion, curiosity, and learning to give yourself the same grace you offer everyone else.
